quality time with a quality young man.

A very gracious and informative gentleman.

Gabe Booher – Guitar

When Gabe was just a babe, two years old, to be exact, a friend loaned him an eighth-sized fiddle, and Gabe was on his way to being a fiddler in the Booher

Family Band. At two and a half, he could play through the first half of Boil the Cabbages Down, and was part of the show. At about age eight, Gabe picked

up the mandolin, and then at fifteen he switched to rhythm guitar. Although the youngest of the Booher Brothers, Gabe’s solid rhythm guitar playing is

the backbone of the band. His warm baritone lead voice, and deep bass parts on the Brother’s tight three-part harmonies are truly wonderful.

Andy Emert – Fiddle

Any Emert began his fiddle playing odyssey 20 some years ago in Salem, Oregon. While learning the Suzuki method in primary school he stumbled

upon fiddle playing at the local community center. After discovering the fun to be had while playing fiddle and guitar Andy has been attending contests

and festivals ever since. Andy is a former Oregon State Fiddle Champion, and has judged at Weiser. Andy currently teaches violin and fiddle at the

Community Music Center in Portland, Oregon and works at David Kerr violin shop.

He studied violin privately for 8 years during which time he was concertmaster of The Huntsville Youth Orchestra and later a member of the

Huntsville Symphony. Daniel’s studies led him to Vanderbilt’s Blair School of Music where he studied with Christian Teal. Daniel completed his

Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education in 1995.

In addition to Daniel’s five personal recordings, he has played on various projects on Rounder, Sugar Hill, and Rebel Records. From Fame Recording

Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, to Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee, Daniel has recorded with Alison Krauss, Sam Bush, John Cowan, Jim Hurst,

Claire Lynch, Michael English, Larry Cordle, and others. His participation in, “Moody Bluegrass: A Nashville Tribute to the Moody Blues,” earned him

a nomination for Recorded Event of the Year from the International Bluegrass Music Association and climbed to number 8 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Chart.

Fiddle Camps and String Conferences the past 8 years and taught at Vanderbilt University’s International Fiddle School and the Swannanoa Gathering

in Asheville, North Carolina.

When not performing or teaching, Daniel enjoys transcribing classic fiddle recordings, composing, and arranging. His meticulous attention

to detail is displayed on his transcriptions of Mark O’Connor’s recording, “Soppin’ the Gravy.”

Raul Reynoso – Guitar Instructor

Raul Reynoso, guitarist, singer and composer, was born in Los Angeles, California. He began playing Bluegrass guitar in 1974, and soon acquired

the skills that would earn him two California State Flatpicking Guitar Championships as well as many Western Regional titles. Raul first rose to

prominence in the band of banjo-virtuoso Larry McNeely, and his three-year stint with the band included one recording and two appearances on

Nashville’s “Grand Ole Opry.” The recent release of Raul’s self-produced CD, “Royal Street,” which features the Rhythm Brothers, has brought

Raul international acclaim from Jazz reviewers in the U.S., UK and Europe. The instrumental and compositional skills displayed on this, Raul’s

first solo CD, have solidified his position as one of the world’s greatest guitarists. Through his own compositions he has created his own style,

which encompasses the best in “Jazz and World Music.”  As music critic Jim Hilmar put it: “When it comes to guitar styles… Raul Reynoso’s clean,

lithe, articulate picking technique is ‘to die for!’” Recently featured as cover story in Flatpicking Guitar Magazine.
